When Bad PR Happens to Good Products
The Penny Arcade link is to correspondence between a PR group for the Avenger controller (a stellar product that recently got a bit a bad press over these emails), a customer who pre-ordered the PS3 Avenger Controller and Mike Krahulik of Penny Arcade. All is well in Avenger land now. The problem has been resolved, the offending PR firm has been dismissed and the makers of the Avenger Controller have given customers effected by the delays a discount. Still, these emails are a pretty funny read. It’s amazing that in the age of the internet, a time when anything can be shown to the public and go viral, people still act so unprofessionally.
